Investing in the human side of the plantation business

People play an important and integral component in ensuring the long-term success of the Group. In 2005, TSH started focusing its efforts on building a strong pool of talents to support its expansion plan in Indonesia.

Besides providing proper training and development, best practices were instilled among field assistants and cadets who are eventually assigned across all new and existing estates. This helps maintain an adequate workforce and improve productivity across all plantations, boding well for the Group’s earnings in the future.

Each year, a large number of students embark on rewarding careers on the Group’s plantations.
